MLB on FOX recently took a Twitter poll to see who would come out on top in each division, allowing fans to vote.

The results for the American League Central division poll are in and it’s looking like fans have a ton of faith in the Chicago White Sox, as they picked the Sox to take the AL Central division.

The results were released this morning, and in the announcement on Twitter that revealed who the fans picked, a nice little graphic can be seen below with Tim Anderson, Jose Abreu, and Luis Robert hitting home runs and putting on their game faces.

The results are in!

Promising Projections

One thing is for sure, and that is White Sox fans are ready to go in 2022.

This team won the AL Central in 2021, going 93-69.

Chicago lost to the Houston Astros in the ALDS, however.

But this team’s lineup is loaded with Anderson, Abreu, Robert, Eloy Jimenez, and Yasmani Grandal.

Their pitching staff also looks strong with Lucas Giolito, Lance Lynn, and Dallas Keuchel heading up the starting rotation, and Craig Kimbrel, Joe Kelly, Kendall Graveman, and Liam Hendriks providing some depth in the bullpen.

Of course, the White Sox did lose reliever Ryan Tepera, who signed a two-year, $14 million deal to pitch with the Los Angeles Angels, but adding Kelly should help offset that a little.

The Minnesota Twins and Detroit Tigers were also quite busy this offseason, but the White Sox appear to be the favorites in the AL Central division.

They are the deepest team in the Central and look prepared to take the next step and make a deeper run into the postseason.

We’ll see what 2022 has in store for them.
