With the MLB Draft approaching, fans are waiting in anticipation to see what the next draft class looks like.
Granted, each draft class is full of exciting young talent, with many players who ultimately make their presence felt once they reach the big leagues.
It’s almost like the dawn of a new era, with a new group of exciting young players ready to shape the future of baseball.
One draft class in particular was absolutely stacked with young stars, many of which are some of today’s best players.
In fact, it was 12 years ago this week that the 2010 MLB Draft began, and when you look at who was on that list of players, courtesy of a graphic tweeted by MLB on FOX, you’ll see some familiar faces.

A Truly Stacked Bunch
Manny Machado, Bryce Harper, Whit Merrifield, Joc Pederson, Nick Castellanos, Christian Yelich, you name it.
This draft class was something else.
It’s almost like the 2003 NBA Draft class that featured LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, Carmelo Anthony, Chris Bosh, and so many others.
There are just times when a draft class comes along and has some extremely exciting young talent to offer.
Each year’s draft class represents the future of baseball and there are certainly going to be some big names in this year’s draft.
But for now, we can look back on the 2010 draft class and realize how far so many of these guys have come.
They’re all superstars who are making their mark on the game of baseball today.
We’ve got some MVPs, Gold Glove winners, Silver Sluggers, Cy Youngs, you name it, in that draft class.
Will this year’s draft class be even better?
Only time will tell.
