Bo Jackson was a different breed.
His MLB career wasn’t exceptionally long, but it was a successful one.
Not only that, but Jackson also played in the NFL, making him a rare breed of athlete to play two professional sports at one time.
And he had more than his fair share of great moments on the field in both baseball and football.
One of his best moments came during his time with the Kansas City Royals, when he made a leaping grab and proceeded to throw out Carlton Fisk at third base.
On Twitter, an MLB fan posted a video of this legendary moment.

Jackson was simply a different kind of athlete.
His reflexes are what made him such an amazing player.
His ability to make solid plays in the outfield and also show off his cannon of an arm set him apart from others.
Jackson was drafted by the New York Yankees back in 1982 and made his debut with the Royals in 1986.
For his career, Jackson had a .250 batting average and hit a grand total of 141 home runs while also posting a WAR of 8.3, an OPS of .784, and an OPS+ of 112.
He earned one All-Star selection and was named the All-Star Game MVP in 1989.
But his strength was another aspect of his game that people took note of.
After striking out four times against Detroit Tigers legend Frank Tanana, Jackson snapped his bat over his knee.
But beyond that, Jackson was a special player and could perform feats others couldn’t.
