Baseball is back.
Today is the day the game makes its return.
Several spring training games are already underway.
The Boston Red Sox are playing host to the Northeastern University Huskies, while the Seattle Mariners pay a visit to the San Diego Padres and the Texas Rangers take on the Kansas City Royals.
It’s all here and it’s happening right now.
But when baseball comes back, it represents something.
It brings a feeling of hope and comfort to those who have missed it.
On Twitter, MLB posted a photo of Peoria Stadium, the spring training home of the Padres with a caption that read: “It’s back, and it’s perfect.”

It is perfect indeed.
There is nothing like the sights and sounds of baseball.
After a long, cold, and boring winter, here we are, ready for another season of baseball.
We still have a ways to go before Opening Day, but it’ll be here before we know it.
The 2022 season was a treat, but now it’s time to shift our focus to the 2023 season.
MLB action has finally made its return.
Better yet, there is a full slate of games for tomorrow and Sunday, and for the next several weeks.
Saturday, there will 17 games on the schedule, which means that spring training baseball will officially be in full swing.
There is a lot to look forward to for baseball fans.
This year, spring training started on time and there is no delay to the start of spring training play or the regular season.
