The Toronto Blue Jays reached the postseason for the second time in three years in 2022, winning 92 games and securing the top Wild Card spot in the American League.
However, their stay in the postseason lasted just two games, as they were swept out of the Wild Card round by the Seattle Mariners.
This offseason, Toronto has been busy.
They have added stars such as Daulton Varsho, Chris Bassitt, Kevin Kiermaier, and Brandon Belt to go along with Vladimir Guerrero Jr, Bo Bichette, Kevin Gausman, George Springer, and Alek Manoah.
On Sunday, MLB analysts Harold Reynolds and Matt Vasgersian discussed the Blue Jays and how their moves could help them as they look to dethrone the New York Yankees at the top of the AL East.

Vasgersian listed some of the moves the Blue Jays made and said that it would be hard to count them out as we move closer to the start of the season.
Reynolds talked about how the Blue Jays have built a contending ballclub over time, listing players such as Bichette and Guerrero, who have arrived in recent years and have become the building blocks for the team.
He also discussed that because of their young stars and the players they have added to supplement that core, the Blue Jays could be a team that is capable of making a run to the World Series.
The AL East will be stacked this season.
The Yankees, Tampa Bay Rays, and Baltimore Orioles all appear to have bright futures.
But the Blue Jays are a team that should not be slept on.
