The World Baseball Classic is coming.
Soon after players report to spring training, those competing in the Classic will head elsewhere and compete for their respective countries.
Each team has their strengths and weaknesses, but the Classic should be exciting.
It’s hard to determine which team has the edge over the others, but on MLB Network, insider Jon Morosi gave his take.
Morosi believes that Team Japan has the best group of players on its roster and that they will ultimately be the ones to walk away victorious at the end of March.
MLB Network tweeted a video of Morosi giving his take on Team Japan.

Morosi is certainly making a solid case for Team Japan.
You can never go wrong with two-way star Shohei Ohtani.
But there are more stars on the roster that could help carry the Japanese national team.
Yu Darvish is also on the roster.
A couple of newly signed players are competing as well.
Boston Red Sox outfielder Masataka Yoshida and New York Mets pitcher Kodai Senga are two more stars that Team Japan will be boasting this coming spring.
One player of note that wasn’t talked about by Morosi in his segment was Lars Nootbaar.
The St. Louis Cardinals outfielder is getting better at the plate and is also a plus defender.
He’ll be the first non-Japanese born player to compete with Team Japan in the Classic.
The roster is stacked and Morosi has made a pretty strong case as to why Japan could ultimately emerge victorious this March.
