Jacob deGrom is set to enter free agency after the conclusion of the World Series.
deGrom chose to exercise his player option on his contract with the New York Mets and thus will be a free agent soon.
So, fans are left wondering where deGrom might end up.
Will he stay with the Mets?
Will he sign with the Atlanta Braves, as some Mets fans fear?
Or does he go out west to join the Los Angeles Dodgers?
Jomboy Media posted a tweet with photoshopped images of deGrom in Dodgers, Braves, San Francisco Giants, and St. Louis Cardinals uniforms.
This poses the question of where he will end up in 2023.
Where is he going?

Where Will deGrom End Up?
All four of these teams could make sense for deGrom.
In the Dodgers case, they’ll be without Walker Buehler all of next season as he rehabs from Tommy John Surgery, so a veteran ace would be most beneficial for them.
St. Louis is also an interesting possibility.
Given that Adam Wainwright may retire, the Cardinals could be compelled to find a true No. 1 this offseason.
It all depends on whether or not the Cards front office is willing to pay such a steep price for him, especially given his recent injury history.
The Giants could be a fit, as it’s very possible that they may lose Carlos Rodon in free agency, similarly to how they lost Kevin Gausman last season.
Atlanta may be a stretch, but a rotation featuring him with Max Fried, Spencer Strider, and Kyle Wright would be deadly.
Of course, he could end up staying with the Mets.
Steve Cohen certainly has the resources to make it happen.
