Miles Bridges of the Charlotte Hornets was not feeling very good late into his team’s loss against the Atlanta Hawks on Wednesday night.
With a little less than six-and-a-half minutes left in the game, Bridges received a couple of technical fouls and was ejected.
The Hornets were already down by 30 points so their fate was already set but Bridges was still fired up upon being kicked out.
He was so fired up, in fact, that he threw his mouth guard into the stands at the jeering Atlanta crowd.
It was a bad look for Bridges – and he wants to right that wrong.
Somebody get me in contact with the young lady. That’s unacceptable. https://t.co/MlLZjMgcBF

Following the game – and the bad press that came with it – Bridges went on Twitter in hopes of finding the young woman who got nailed by his mouthguard.
“Somebody get me in contact with the young lady. That’s unacceptable,” Bridges said.
It’s good to see Bridges taking responsibility for his actions and wanting to make things better after such a public outburst.
Bye Bye, Bridges
There was a lot of fury in that throw and it was being tossed by a professional athlete in peak physical form.
In other words, it surely hurt!
No one blames Bridges for being upset because he was among the large number of people who thought that this could be Charlotte’s year.
Few people expected them to go all the way to the NBA Finals but some saw them getting far into the postseason.
However, their youth and inexperience seemed to slow them down in the end and they lost in the play-in tournament for the second year in a row.
After apologizing to the girl, Bridges will then have plenty of time to figure out how to enhance his game and help his team finally make it into the playoffs next year.
