When fans think about the Tennessee Titans, they usually think about Derrick Henry, the team’s running back.
However, head coach Mike Vrabel is giving fans more to think about with his team.
During a press conference, he gave the NFL world an honest statement about his team.
So what was Vrabel saying that’s honest and giving NFL fans more to think about with the Titans?
Vrabel Gives High Praise For His Players
When things got tough for the Titans against the Indianapolis Colts, the Titans’ players got tough as well.
Those players playing through pain and injuries earned them high praise from their head coach.
"Never would've dreamed that given the opportunity to be a head coach in this league that you'd be able to coach a bunch of guys that are as tough as they are."

While Vrabel notes how tough his players are, he didn’t end there with his honest statement.
He went on talking about how he’s “extremely proud of their toughness and resolve.”
With several players going down against the Colts, they didn’t let those injuries hold them back.
They had doctors check them out, and they marched back onto the field proudly to defend their team.
However, these players could have taken the easy way out, and sat out the rest of the game.
But they didn’t, which is why Vrabel is giving those players his honest and heart-felt praise.
Players like Ryan Tannehill, Jeffery Simmons, Ben Jones, and Ryan Stonehouse all fought through their injuries.
Because of this, the Titans are 4-2 and in first place in the AFC South.
With that division being competitive again, the toughness of those players gave the Titans a much-needed win.
