Los Angeles Angels superstar Mike Trout has been out since taking a pitch to the hand on Sunday against the Texas Rangers.
Trout attempted to get out of the way, but to no avail as the pitch hit him square on his left hand.
However, the Angels and their fans got some good news about the situation late last night.
According to Angels’ insider Sam Blum, Trout is feeling much better and says that he will be back in the lineup for Friday night’s series opener against the Baltimore Orioles.

Trout Back
Trout is hitting .267 with two homers and three RBIs to start the season.
This is good news for the Angels, who have been without their star for the past couple of games.
Having Trout back should give their lineup a nice little boost as they open up a new series against the Orioles.
The Angels went 2-1 in Trout’s absence, taking two out of three from the division rival and defending American League champion Houston Astros.
The Angels are currently at the top of the AL West division with a record of 8-5, sitting a half-game ahead of the Seattle Mariners.
They also have the best record in the AL.
Even so, Trout will give the Angels a much-needed push.
Trout and Shohei Ohtani form a deadly duo in the Angels lineup and that duo should be back in full force by Friday.
We’ll see how the Angels respond to having their former MVP back in the lineup.
They’re off to a good start this season, and with Trout on their side, they have a chance to contend for the first time since 2015.
