Anthony Rendon‘s brief tenure with the Los Angeles Angels has not exactly been a memorable one.
He’s faced a ton of challenges, mainly injury-related, and his stats have not been very good by any stretch of the imagination.
This year, wrist inflammation was the problem, and it’s kept him sidelined since June.
He also was suspended for his role in the brawl with the Seattle Mariners.
But he’s been taking some swings against live pitching lately and looks to be turning the corner.
When discussing this during an interview, he was overheard by Mike Trout, who was super excited for his teammate and gave him a big hug.

Trout Happy For Rendon
This is some nice wholesome content.
Rendon, when healthy, could still turn out to be a key contributor for the Halos.
It’s a little late at this point, but next year he could play a big role.
It is nice though to see Trout so elated to see him again and to hear that he’s improving.
He still has one hurdle to clear, that being his suspension.
But other than that, he seems good to go, and Trout is totally here for it.
Trout is well-known for being one of the nicest players in the league and a great teammate.
He knows how hard it’s been for Rendon to be sidelined this long, and he also knows how hard he’s worked in order to get back to where he needs to be.
It’s been a long road to recovery for Rendon, but that road appears to be reaching its end with him seemingly feeling better each day and being in a position to hit off of live pitching.
