The Pittsburgh Steelers are now 7-0 after defeating divisional rival, Baltimore Ravens, 28-24, on Sunday.
There was lots of talk leading up to this game featuring the two divisional rivals, as this game will have lasting impact on playoff implications.
With the new NFL Playoff formatting, only one team in each conference will now receive a bye week.
This makes every game — especially divisional games — more meaningful as each team searches for a way to get that number 1 seed.
After the come-from-behind win for the Pittsburgh Steelers, head coach Mike Tomlin had strong words about the preparation and mentally of his team when it comes to fearing any opposing player.
“We don’t fear him”
Coming into this matchup, the Pittsburgh Steelers knew they had to contain former MVP, Lamar Jackson, and that Baltimore rushing attack.
The Steelers started off the game strong forcing an interception, resulting in a touchdown.
But, as the game progressed, these two teams went back and forth, until the Steelers had the final word by making a crucial 4th down stop.

The Steelers struggled to stop the rushing attack, as the Ravens ran for over 250 yards.
But, on that last play, the Steelers were well prepared for the run.
As displayed in the video, before the snap of the ball, you see the Steelers two linebackers and safety, form a triangle.
After the game, here is what Coach Tomlin had to say about the former MVP.
Asked about Lamar Jackson’s interceptions, Mike Tomlin said: “We have respect for him, but we do not fear him. So, we are not surprised by anything that transpired.”

The Steelers certainly did play with no fear as they forced Jackson into two interceptions.
The Pittsburgh Steelers Remain Unbeaten At The Half Way Point
At the halfway mark of the season, the Steelers remain as the only unbeaten team in the NFL.
Thus far on the year, they have picked up nice wins over the Philadelphia Eagles, Cleveland Browns, Tennessee Titans and Baltimore Ravens.
Players on the team, such as rookie WR Chase Claypool, are displaying their fearless mentality on Twitter.

In the win over the Browns, LB Devin Bush, tore his ACL, meaning he will miss the remainder of this season.
Earlier last week, the Steelers traded for LB Avery Williamson as reinforcement for their front seven.

Pittsburgh currently sits with a 2 game lead over the Ravens as we enter Week 9.
It shall be interesting to see how the remainder of the year plays out between these two teams.
The next time they meet, will be on Thanksgiving night in Pittsburgh.
That game could possibly for the division title and the number 1 seed in the AFC.
