To say that the New York Jets have been going through tough times for quite some time would be an understatement.
This franchise has seen nearly every other NFL team get better at some point, yet they haven’t been able to go back to their winning ways in a very long time.
The Jets, however, showed signs of life last season.
They had an outstanding offseason and brought in elite talent in the NFL Draft, and they were quite close to putting an end to their playoff drought.
So, now that they have a realistic shot at landing a future Hall of Famer like Aaron Rodgers and NFL insider and diehard Jets fan Mike Greenberg doesn’t have the time or the energy to focus on anything else.
As a matter of fact, Greenberg even shared a hilarious text exchange he had with his wife, asking her to give away theater tickets because he couldn’t think of anything but Rodgers and the Jets.

Greenberg added that he let his significant other know that this attitude is going to go on indefinitely, as he’s now officially on Rodgers watch 24/7.
Having a guy like Aaron Rodgers would drastically raise their ceiling.
In fact, having him as a mentor could even help Zach Wilson turn his career around if he hangs in there long enough until he’s gone.
But they’re pretty much at his mercy right now, as he has to decide whether he wants to keep playing first, and then whether he wants to play for them.
