On Sunday, the New York Jets were able to pull off the upset and hand the Philadephia Eagles their very first loss of the 2023 NFL season.
With the win, the Jets have improved their record to 3-3, and they have a great opportunity to bump that up to 4-3 after their bye next week when they take on the New York Giants in Week 8.
To the surprise of some, New York has been able to remain competitive during most of the 2023 season despite losing quarterback Aaron Rodgers to an Achilles injury back in Week 1.
Most have assumed Rodgers won’t be back on the field this year, but ESPN’s Mike Greenberg is not like most Jets fans, as he recently shared that he believes the former NFL MVP will return to suit up for New York before the 2023 season comes to an end, via ESPN Radio.
“Aaron Rodgers is coming back [this season]. He’s coming back. There’s no doubt about it.”

Before the Jets’ game against the Eagles on Sunday, Rodgers was seen throwing the football around down on the field inside MetLife Stadium, causing Greenberg and the rest of the New York fanbase to flood their brains with optimism about the quarterback potentially playing again this season.
Is it really that amazing that Rodgers is able to throw a ball with his arm after suffering a leg injury, though?
Whether it’s an astonishing accomplishment or not, Greenberg is consistently fueling the fire of excitement for Jets fans when it comes to anything Rodgers-related this year.
Will we actually see the veteran quarterback return to the field for the Jets this season, or will it just end up being another moment of disappointment for the New York fanbase?
