Lamar Jackson’s contract situation with the Baltimore Ravens has continued to dominate NFL offseason discussions.
The Ravens placed the franchise tag on Jackson after being unable to come to a contractual agreement.
Although Jackson is available to be signed by another team, at this point, he is still a member of the Ravens.
In a recent appearance on the Pat McAfee Show, Mike Greenberg made his feelings well-known about this situation.
“I still can’t believe that the entire NFL is going to let Lamar Jackson be available and never make any move at it,” he said.

There are several teams across the NFL that are looking for a new quarterback, and Jackson could fill that role for them.
As Greenberg highlights, the league is aware that Jackson is available, and hasn’t done anything about it, at least, to this point.
With the NFL Draft right around the corner, many teams are working on their draft boards, and solidifying their rosters.
Pending an unforeseen move, it appears that Jackson will be on the Ravens’ roster to begin the 2023 campaign.
However, many have questioned how Jackson will proceed, given a lack of guarantees past 2023.
Will he sit out, paving the way for Tyler Huntley to be the team’s starter moving forward?
Or, will the Ravens get ahead of that, signing Jackson to a much-anticipated extension?
There are several NFL storylines that are still unresolved.
The good news for NFL fans is that these unresolved stories make for great content during the offseason.
