The National Football League continues to be king among all major sports, at least in the U.S.
And with all the sportsbooks making their way into the NFL, it’s not odd to see the league trying to make the most and capitalize on their product even further.
So, even though the Thursday Night Football flex proposal was tabled, NBC Sports insider Mike Florio believes it’s just a matter of time before they bring that up again.
Moreover, he added that he thinks the league will eventually feature daily games throughout the season.
Florio took to The Pat McAfee Show to state how much he learns and enjoys when he gets the rare chance of watching one game at a time instead of trying to catch up to what’s going on in eight or nine games taking place simultaneously.

Of course, this proposal would change the whole dynamic of the NFL schedule as we know it.
There would be no more Sundays of binge-watching football, and we’d get just a couple of primetime games per day, just like it happens with the NBA.
Needless to say, football purists, players, and coaches might actually hate this proposal and do whatever it takes to make sure it never happens.
But we’re talking about one of the most lucrative businesses in the sports industry, so he might be right and this could be inevitable at some point.
