He might not be the player he once was, but Mike Conley has still been stellar for the Utah Jazz this season.
Once considered one of the most efficient point guards in the league, Conley has taken a back seat to the Jazz’s young guns, but he’s been as reliable and impactful as always.
As a matter of fact, the 35-year-old veteran is currently on one of the most impressive streaks you could ever hope from a point guard, as he’s turned the ball over just once over his last 147 minutes of play.
Mike Conley has only had one turnover in the last 147 minutes of games he’s played…
Unreal. 🤯

Conley is averaging an elite 7.4 assists per game despite playing less than 30 minutes a night, proving that he could still be a steady contributor for a championship contender if given a chance.
While he’s no longer much of a presence on the defensive end of the floor, Conley is still one of the most intelligent offensive players in the league, and he sure knows how to maximize the talent around him while also getting his points in an efficient manner.
Conley’s deal with the Jazz runs through next season, and they have no use for a soon-to-be 36-year-old as they look to get younger and rebuild for the future.
So, we should expect him to be shipped out before the trade deadline, although his salary of $26 million could make him a tough pill to swallow for contending teams looking to add more backcourt depth.
Still, he could be just the catalyst any team needs to finally get over the hump.
