The career of Detroit Tigers legend Miguel Cabrera has been nothing short of incredible.
However, this year marks the end of the incredible journey.
Prior to the 2023 season, Cabrera announced that this would be his final season in Major League Baseball.
However, the veteran slugger is certainly making the most of it.
Much like Albert Pujols and Yadier Molina last season, Cabrera is embarking on a nice farewell tour, which made a stop in St. Louis over the weekend.
On Sunday, the St. Louis Cardinals held a special ceremony for the former MVP and donated $3,500 to his foundation while also presenting him with a picture of the moment he hit his 400th career homer, which came at Busch Stadium in 2015.
Congratulations on a legendary career, Miguel Cabrera!
In honor of his final game at Busch Stadium, we presented Miggy with a check to The Miguel Cabrera Foundation, as well as a framed photo of his 400th career home run, which he hit against us in 2015. pic.twitter.com/RPfmAsVECX

Cabrera has accomplished a lot over the course of his career.
He came up in 2003 with the then-Florida Marlins and won a World Series ring.
The 40-year-old has won two MVPs, seven Silver Slugger Awards, a Triple Crown, and four batting titles.
He has also been selected to 12 All-Star games.
While the 2023 season hasn’t quite gone according to plan, his career numbers are legendary.
Cabrera owns a lifetime .307 batting average and has hit a total of 507 home runs.
Last year, he picked up his 3,000th career hit.
He owns a career OPS of .905 and an OPS+ of 142.
Needless to say, it’s been an unforgettable journey for Cabrera.
But over the weekend, he made his final stop in St. Louis, barring a longshot World Series matchup, and received a truly special gift from the Cardinals.
