Miguel Cabrera just doesn’t stop making history.
Even after picking up hit No. 3,000, the Detroit Tigers‘ star continues to etch his name in the record books and climb all-time lists.
He is almost certain to be enshrined in the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown when his career is over.
But he’s not done just yet and still has plenty of work to do, at least in his mind.
Cabrera climbed into a tie with Tigers’ legend Al Kaline for 31st on the all-time hits list last night against the Houston Astros.
Miggy now sits at 3,007 career hits, with more milestones potentially on the way.

Miggy Back At It Again
Cabrera just does not stop.
He is a walking legend who despite his advanced age, still has a lot left in the tank and plenty to prove as he continues to tie and break records.
He’s the only active player besides Albert Pujols to have 3,000 or more career hits.
And now he’s tied with one of the greatest players of all time, and certainly one of the best Tigers’ players of all time, that being “Mr. Tiger” Al Kaline.
Cabrera has certainly earned the right to share such elite company.
He and Kaline are both iconic figures in Tigers’ history and have been a part of several great teams.
Cabrera has been a legend since he came up to the big leagues, and once he was traded over to the Tigers, he had a chance to play for one of the most iconic franchises of all time.
Now, 14 years later, he’s a legend in Tigers’ country.
The fans in Detroit love him and he continues to make history.
We’ll see what he can do next.
