For the first time since December, the Denver Nuggets have now lost three games in a row.
Their latest defeat was because of the Brooklyn Nets, who beat them 122-120 on Sunday night.
All of Brooklyn’s starters were in double-digits and Spencer Dinwiddie earned a triple-double, which meant the Nuggets had a very hard time for the entirety of the game.
Following the game, Nuggets writer Vinny Benedetto spoke with Michael Porter Jr., who had some tough words about head coach Mike Malone’s choices.
When asked about finding a rhythm on the court, Porter said, “[Malone] sat me the whole fourth quarter and put me in with 20 seconds left, I think. So, I mean it’s impossible to catch a rhythm then.”
Just heard from Michael Porter Jr. in the postgame locker room. @VidaVivaDiva asked MPJ about finding a rhythm. Porter answered: "(He) sat me the whole fourth and put me in with 20 seconds left, I think. So, I mean it’s impossible to catch a rhythm then."

It is surprising to hear that Porter played so little in the fourth quarter considering he was good for 23 points before that.
During that final period of the game, Porter posted zeroes across the board.
Sunday night’s loss marked Denver’s third defeat that many fans thought could have been avoided.
Before Brooklyn beat them, the Nuggets were taken down by the San Antonio Spurs and the Chicago Bulls.
The team still has a few of the best players in the West, including MVP candidate Nikola Jokic, but they are showing some signs of imperfection as the regular season concludes.
Speaking of Jokic, he had yet another triple-double on Sunday with 35 points, 20 rebounds, and 11 assists – yet the Nets still beat them.
The Nuggets remain the top team in their conference with a strong five-game lead on the second-place Sacramento Kings.
But it sounds like at least one player is unsatisfied with how Malone is running the team.
Does that mean we can expect to see more of Porter in the games ahead?
