Michael Jordan of the Chicago Bulls and Magic Johnson of the Los Angeles Lakers are without a doubt two of the best NBA players of all time.
There is no debating this, no matter who your favorite team or current player is.
Although the two played against one another so many years ago, there is little doubt that they could still be powerful on the court today – they are just that good.
Jordan agrees with that sentiment and even challenged Johnson to a one-on-one game during the All-Star Weekend.

Backstage at the 75th anniversary team celebration, Jordan jokingly called out Johnson.
In fact, His Airness said he was ready to go one-on-one on the court right away.
Although the comment was a joke, one can feel that there is a bit of truth in what he was saying: even after all these years, he’d gladly take on Johnson – or anyone – again.
Competition Never Ends
Jordan and Johnson went head to head in the 1991 NBA Finals and, in the end, Jordan and his Bulls were victorious.
But it’s no secret that Jordan is one of the most competitive superstars in the history of the NBA and there is no doubt that he didn’t get his fill back then.
The fact that Johnson is usually mentioned as one of the other greatest basketball players to ever do it only makes Jordan even more eager to square off against him.
This year’s slam dunk contest was not well-received and the NBA is surely looking for new ways to get viewers interested during the All-Star Weekend.
Perhaps a one-on-one competition with two NBA legends like what Jordan proposed should be in the works?
