NFL football is such a big deal that even NBA legend Michael Jordan is getting involved.
The new football season is kicking off this week and this Sunday will feature the anticipated return of Tom Brady of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
It’s a special moment for Brady, who recently retired from the game…only to un-retire just weeks later.
Brady’s big move got a lot of attention and now Jordan is poking fun at it.
NBC intro for the #Cowboys–#Bucs game has Michael Jordan the NBA 🐐 talking about NFL's 🐐 Tom Brady.
"I waited 2 years to return, he couldn't wait 2 months." pic.twitter.com/GK5xUbtk7o

In an intro for the upcoming Cowboys – Bucs game, Jordan makes a brief appearance, stating, “I waited two years to return, he couldn’t wait two months.”
It’s a funny joke – and incredibly accurate.
Jordan and Brady are often compared to one another, both considered the GOATs of their respective games.
Jordan Joking Around
It’s not every day that Jordan comes out of retirement to make an appearance like this.
Then again, it’s not every day that Brady returns to the NFL after such a bizarre offseason.
Of course, Jordan had to comment because there are similarities between the two events.
Jordan stepped away from basketball only to return two years later in a huge comeback story that rocked the NBA world and granted fans more time with one of the greatest players of all time.
The same is true with Brady’s retirement: he decided he was done playing but then changed his tune and is allowing fans to get more of him.
For fans of Brady, this was the greatest gift of all time – for those who don’t care for him, it was infuriating.
In the years ahead, Brady should expect a few pointed jabs about this situation from people with far fewer championship rings than Jordan.
