The Dallas Cowboys had a feast with the sluggish Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Raymond James Stadium Monday night.
It didn’t take long before they established their superiority on both sides of the field, with Dak Prescott feeding his wideouts, the running game wreaking havoc out of the backfield, and their defense giving Tom Brady hell.
Unsurprisingly, Micah Parsons was once again one of the brightest spots for Dan Quinn’s defensive scheme.
His versatility allowed him to disrupt nearly every Bucs snap, constantly making Brady run for his life and batting passes near the line of scrimmage.
But fans worried about the Penn State product when the broadcast showed him slowly coming back up and breathing heavily, as he looked gassed up and quite banged up to end the first half.
That’s why the reigning Defensive Rookie of the Year tried to clear the air on his health status, looking unbothered and not worried at all:
“I’m feeling good. I thought I finished the game well. Continuing to get my pressure, continued to keep going, understanding the circumstances I was faced with. I’m excited for next week, excited for the matchup,” Parsons said, per The Athletic’s Jon Machota.

There’s no denying that Parsons is key to the Cowboys’ defensive success, and that will be the case for the next decade, at the very least.
So, having him back to full strength for their biggest game of the season will be a must for Mike McCarthy’s squad, as they’ll need him at his best to try and get past the San Francisco 49ers’ solid offensive line in the Divisional game.
It’s worth noting that the Niners ended the Cowboys’ season last year, so you better believe Parsons will bring his best to the game.
