Micah Parsons has only been in the NFL for two seasons but has already significantly impacted the Dallas Cowboys.
After winning the Defensive Rookie of the Year Award in 2021, Parsons followed that up with another All-Pro season in 2022.
While Parsons was dominant in his first two years, he has his sights set higher for 2023.
According to Parsons, via NFL.com, “I’m trying to achieve and be greater than someone who is chasing.”

Another quote from Parsons was, “I’m kinda off the sack wave, I’m onto the impact wave.”
Parsons isn’t necessarily looking to have high octane numbers this season, but rather, to make his impact felt on defense.
The Cowboys experienced great success during the regular season last year but fell short of the NFC Championship Game.
Will Parsons and the rest of the team be able to make the next step, creating a deeper run in the playoffs?
Everything they do has been put under a microscope, especially given the reach of the Cowboys brand.
According to PFF’s rankings, Parsons was the Cowboys’ highest-graded player last season.
While the rest of their defense played well last season, Parsons continued and continues to be a cut above the rest.
In Parsons’ words, “It’s gonna be a year to remember for sure.”
Just how memorable that will be certainly remains to be seen.
Parsons is one of the team’s defensive leaders, but he can only impact the game from that side of the ball.
Can Dak Prescott and the offense do their part this year?
