The New York Mets‘ blazing-hot start continues.
After their dramatic come-from-behind victory on Thursday night over the Philadelphia Phillies, the next two games were postponed due to rain.
A doubleheader took place on Sunday between the two clubs, and while the Phillies won the first game of the twin bill, the Mets bounced back and won the second game by a final of 6-1.
With their win in game two of the doubleheader, the Mets picked up win No. 20 on the young season.
They are the first team to reach 20 wins in all of baseball, holding the second-best record in the National League and leading the NL East division by six games over the Atlanta Braves and Miami Marlins.

Mets Keep Rolling
This Mets team might just be built different.
Things keep looking better and better each day in Queens.
The Mets keep rolling and now have the most wins in all of baseball.
Their starting rotation is among the best in baseball, getting major contributions from Max Scherzer, Tylor Megill, and Chris Bassitt, as well as Carlos Carrasco.
The team came into 2022 with big goals and have fulfilled them up to this point.
On paper, this is one of the best teams in all of baseball.
Everything seems to be clicking at the same time, which has led them to become the first team in the big leagues to reach 20 wins.
There is still plenty of time left in the season and history does still precede the Mets.
But if everybody stays healthy and the pieces keep producing, look for this Mets team to be one of the clear postseason contenders by the time September rolls around.
