Fans of the Dallas Mavericks are still on a high from their team’s back-to-back wins over the Phoenix Suns and then the Denver Nuggets.
The win against the Suns was monumental because of the margin of victory while the triumph over the Nuggets was very important because of how the Mavericks fought it out.
As you’d expect, Luka Doncic was a shining star during both games but it was someone else who did the most incredible work against Denver.
Tim Hardaway Jr. has FIVE STRAIGHT games of 5+ three pointers. 🤯

Tim Hardaway Jr. earned the team-high 29 points in that game and he also sank 6 of his 8 three-pointers.
That made his fifth straight game of 5+ three-pointers.
Hardaway is only the 10th player in the history of the NBA to achieve such a feat.
See, the Mavericks aren’t only about Doncic.
Hardaway Plays Hard
If the team is hoping to have another strong playoff run later in the season, they will need more performances like these from Hardaway.
The Mavs are incredibly lucky to have Doncic but they cannot put everything on his shoulders.
The team always does better when Doncic is able to impress with his teammates right beside him, putting up numbers as Hardaway has.
There are plenty of superb players on the team, such as Christian Wood, Dorian Finney-Smith, Spencer Dinwiddie, and more.
But they are sometimes inconsistent and that puts more on Doncic.
The Mavericks have won their last 4-of-5, which coincidentally lines up with Hardaway’s surge from the three-point line.
Up next for the team is the Milwaukee Bucks, who will try their best to slow down Hardaway on Friday night.
Will they be able to stop his streak?
