The NFL Pro Bowl has always been a game for the fans.
That has been clear since the players were certainly never interested in playing hard during the game.
So the NFL has decided to make some changes and turn it into a skills contest along with a flag football game.
This should allow the players to show their competitive side without having to risk injury.
But, even this new format has not stopped players from withdrawing from the contest.
Recently, Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen backed out.
Somehow the NFL decided to give his spot to Baltimore Ravens quarterback Tyler Huntley.
Yes, the Tyler Huntley that started only four games for the team all season.
His stats this season included 658 passing yards, two passing touchdowns, and three interceptions.
While it is unclear why the NFL went with Huntley to replace Allen, there is a shocking fact about his nomination.
Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford and Huntley are now tied in Pro Bowl nominations for their careers.

It is hard to fathom how this is possible with Stafford being one of the best quarterbacks of the past decade.
Despite playing for the Detroit Lions for most of his career, Stafford has been hosed in a few Pro Bowl selections.
The one season he did make it was in 2014 when he threw for a pedestrian 22 touchdowns and 12 interceptions.
Inexplicably, the year Stafford threw for 5,038 yards and 41 touchdowns he was not a Pro Bowler.
It just seems like the NFL does a terrible job finding the players that deserve to be on the roster.
That is a big reason why the game has fallen off and many fans have become uninterested.
