The good news is that Matthew Stafford is now a Super Bowl champion after helping the Los Angeles Rams defeat the Cincinnati Bengals in Super Bowl LVI.
During the regular season, the former Georgia standout finished third in passing yards (4,886), second in touchdowns (41), and tied for tenth in completion percentage (67.2).
However, he was tied with Jacksonville Jaguars play-caller Trevor Lawrence for most interceptions thrown with 17.
Unfortunately, the same problems persist for Stafford as he leads the league in interceptions early in the 2022 season with six.
Worst yet, he has given several points to the other team over three seasons, including the current one.

NFL on CBS pointed out that Stafford has thrown the most interception returns for touchdowns with eight, while four others have four apiece.
He added to that disappointing tally after throwing another pick-six to San Francisco 49ers safety Talanoa Hufanga in their Week 4 Monday Night Football game.
That result had the game out of reach for the Rams and settled the 24-9 final tally.
Rams Offense In Disarray
While that pass is Stafford’s first pick-six in 2022, he threw five other interceptions throughout their first four games.
He threw three interceptions during their season-opener against the Buffalo Bills.
Dane Jackson, Jordan Poyer, and Carlos Basham Jr. completed the picks.
Stafford had two more against the Atlanta Falcons, with Casey Hayward and Mykal Walker getting credit for the interceptions.
His recent interception versus San Francisco gives him 173 career picks.
Injuries on offense, especially on their offensive line, reduced Stafford’s ability to complete throws in rhythm.
But as a quarterback getting paid $40 million annually, he must find a way to facilitate their attack.
However, their scheme will work wonders if they can find other dependable targets in the passing game outside of Cooper Kupp and Tyler Higbee.
