Mac Jones barely had to do anything Monday night to help lead the New England Patriots to victory.
He threw a total of three passes, completing two, as the Patriots offense was all about the run in the 14-10 win over the Buffalo Bills.
That plan resulted in a win, so everyone was happy following the game.
Veteran defender Matthew Judon helped lead a unit that only allowed 10 points, and made sure to give a shoutout to the offense as well.
He just made sure to rib the rookie quarterback in the process.

Judon isn’t necessarily wrong here, and this is all in good fun.
It is just funny to see Jones continue to get the rookie treatment even with the Patriots at 9-4 and atop the AFC.
Judon’s Accurate Statement
Jones did in fact barely have to do anything in the game.

His job was making sure he had crisp hand-offs to Damien Harris and Rhamondre Stevenson all night.
He did just that and the result was the Patriots finishing the game with 222 total rushing yards.
They had the Bills defense flustered all night when it was clear Jones was barely going to throw.
Even his two completions only amounted for 19 yards.
Judon’s comment proves just how much fun the Patriots are having in 2021.
They are being led by a rookie quarterback, but Bill Belichick’s system has them in the No. 1 spot in the AFC.
How many other coaches would have stuck with the run as much as he did Monday night?
The Bills were playing in the same weather and still had Josh Allen throw the ball 30 times.
Jones may not deserve credit for this win, but he remains on track to set all kinds of rookie records if he can guide the Patriots on a deep Super Bowl run.
