When a team is out of postseason contention, there’s always a bit of a silver lining.
What is that silver lining, you ask?
Well, if a team is out of contention, they do at least have the opportunity to show off some of their young players and give fans a nice glimpse into the future.
The Miami Marlins are one of those teams.
Last night, they had rookie Jordan Groshans starting at third base against the Philadelphia Phillies.
Groshans hit his first career home run as the Fish beat the Phils by a final of 5-3.
His family was in attendance for it too, and when he hit the home run, his brother could hardly contain himself and had quite a hilarious celebration.

Brotherly Love And Support
The city of Philadelphia is well-known for being “The City of Brotherly Love.”
But we saw some of that in Miami last night.
Groshans’ brother was lucky enough to be able to literally run around the entire section his family was in, almost as if he was the one that hit the home run.
There’s nothing wrong with letting loose when your brother does something big.
Anytime you can hit your first career home run in front of your family, you have to consider yourself fortunate, and you would always hope that they celebrate the way Groshans’ brother did.
That was some celebration he put on.
But you can’t blame him.
That’s the perfect time to let loose like that.
One can only hope he celebrates like that every time Groshans hits a homer.
It’s pure entertainment, but also a nice show of love and support.
There’s nothing quite like it.
