2023 is going to be a special year in the City of Seattle.
After an inspiring 2022 season, the Seattle Mariners look ready to have a repeat performance in 2023.
While them remaining in postseason contention is not a guarantee, there is one thing that will be guaranteed this season.
In July, T-Mobile Park will be hosting the All-Star festivities.
This includes the Futures Game, Home Run Derby, and All-Star Game.
Mariners fans will have a chance to see some of their stars such as Julio Rodriguez compete with the best in all of baseball.
But in addition to this, Seattle is getting set for yet another treat, as T-Mobile Park will host the NHL Winter Classic in 2024.
T-Mobile Park will be the first venue to host an @MLB All-Star Game and @NHL Winter Classic in a span of 6 months.
Sources say @Mariners are working to bring additional events to @TMobilePark in October 2023. 😉 @MLBNetwork @NHLNetwork @SeattleSports

For context, the NHL Winter Classic is the one game on the hockey schedule each season that is played in an outdoor setting.
On Monday, the Boston Bruins played host to the Pittsburgh Penguins at Fenway Park in this year’s Winter Classic.
Next year, Seattle will have a chance to experience this, likely on New Year’s Day.
This is a fun time for the City of Seattle.
To start, the Mariners have emerged as a legitimate postseason threat and boast a core of young stars that features Rodriguez, Ty France, Cal Raleigh, and others.
But this year, they’ll have a chance to experience the All-Star festivities in July.
Six months later, they’ll get to see the Winter Classic.
Both of these events are taking place within six months of each other and will have the entire City of Seattle buzzing for an extended period of time.
