The Orlando Magic got a big win under their belts on Wednesday, taking down the Atlanta Hawks 135-124 at home.
Despite that victory, few people really believe the Magic have what it takes to make the playoffs this year, although the play-in tournament might happen if they have a good back half to the season.
If that is to happen, it’ll likely be partly because of Bol Bol.
Bol has become a complete sensation for the team and has become remarkably better this season when compared to the last.

On Wednesday night, the 7-foot-2 big man made his way all the way down the court and had an amazing spin move before lifting up, making a dunk, and even getting some great hang time.
The crowd went understandably crazy for Bol, with both teammates and fans jumping around and celebrating the big man.
Some people thought it would never happen but Bol has finally found his footing in the league.
Bol Is Balling
Let’s compare Bol’s last season, when he was with the Denver Nuggets, to the current one with the Magic.
Last season, Bol averaged 2.4 points, 1.4 rebounds, and .4 assists in 5.8 minutes per game.
This season, he has exploded for 12.7 points, 7.4 rebounds, and 1.2 assists in 26.9 minutes a game.
Before this year, Bol had started in 2 games during his NBA career but now he’s started in 24 with the Magic.
He is playing so much better than he had in the past.
He had spirit, smarts, skill, and, of course, size.
The Magic are giving him a lot of time, partly because they are filled with young men like him, which is only helping him become more confident.
That results in amazing moments like this one from Wednesday.
