The Golden State Warriors finally have their best player back on the court.
It’s been way too long since Stephen Curry was out there wreaking havoc, so it was definitely nice to see him back out there after suffering a shoulder injury.
Even NBA legend Magic Johnson had to take to Twitter to share his excitement about Curry’s return, once again sharing one of his infamous obvious statements:
“I’m so happy Steph Curry returns tonight. He was having an MVP season and he’s one of my favorite players of all time to watch. This is great news for the Warriors and the league!” Magic tweeted.

It wasn’t all positive, though.
Steph did score 24 points, but he needed 22 shots to reach that mark, and the Dubs lost by 12 to a Phoenix Suns team missing most of its starters.
“After four weeks, it’s obviously kind of hit-or-miss on how much rust you’ll have and how quickly you can get up to the speed of the game,” Curry said after the loss. “Obviously, with the flow, with the way they were playing, the first quarter felt good just to be back out there running with my guys and feeling the energy in the building again. And then kind of hit a little lull in the second and third quarter. I felt like I got stronger as the game went on, which is exciting knowing the body will respond.”
The Dubs will look to put this tough loss in the rearview mirror as Curry works his way back to his pre-injury shape, so there won’t be much time to dwell on this game.
