Despite his initial success in the NFL, New England Patriots quarterback Mac Jones isn’t resting on his laurels.
After all, he is playing for a franchise that is accustomed to winning Super Bowls.
Therefore, his playoff appearance last season is nothing since he couldn’t deliver a ring.
But given that he was a rookie, leading the Patriots to ten victories is worth the adulation.
Coming into year two, he knows that he must constantly improve to bring the Patriots deeper into the postseason.
That’s why he worked on his body to hopefully perform better in 2022.
Aside from having mastery of the Patriots’ playbook, getting in shape will help him sustain his energy throughout the game.
Without question, Jones is built differently after showing his ripped body.

He said, “I’ve definitely trimmed down on the body fat a little bit. I’ll get a chance to bulk back up before the season starts and be able to absorb the hits.”
Turning fat into muscle will keep him going even if he is hit by a defensive player.
Given that the team needs him more, Jones owes it to them to have the strength to play on every snap.
Jones Must Be Ready For The Challenge Ahead
Jones must bring out his best form every week because their road to a playoff return won’t be easy.
In their division alone, the Miami Dolphins and the Buffalo Bills are threatening to push them out of the postseason.
Then, they also have to face gritty AFC North teams in the Baltimore Ravens, Cincinnati Bengals, Cleveland Browns, and Pittsburgh Steelers.
Also in their 2022 schedule are the Green Bay Packers, Indianapolis Colts, Las Vegas Raiders, and Arizona Cardinals.
If Jones has made the jump to becoming a better quarterback, the Patriots should have no problems defeating these teams.
