The Dallas Mavericks were not able to beat the Los Angeles Clippers on Tuesday night, losing to that team 112-101.
They were taken down by the Clippers even though Luka Doncic was again blowing everyone away with 43 points and 11 rebounds.
Despite that, the Clippers were will able to overcome the Mavericks and work around Doncic and his amazing output.
This is insane.

That’s probably because they are used to Doncic playing so well against them.
Tuesday night featured his 8th 40+ game against the Clippers, showing that he always plays hard and scores a lot against them.
That fact is made even more shocking when you see that others like Kobe Bryant, Kevin Durant, and Stephen Curry have only scored more than 40 points against the Clippers just 7 and 6 times after years and years of playing in the league.
Meanwhile, this is just Doncic’s fifth season.
All of this just shows what an incredible player Doncic has become.
He is regularly scoring triple-doubles and putting up more than 30 and 40 points against numerous teams.
Some people feel that he specifically has it out for the Clippers but there are actually a few teams who Doncic repeatedly plays his heart out against.
It’s like he has a chip on his shoulder and a rivalry between a bunch of teams throughout the league.
Doncic has become one of the most competitive and fearsome players in the NBA and he often tears up the solid defensive plans of his opponents.
So far this season, Doncic is averaging a stunning 34.2 points, 8.9 rebounds, and 8.7 assists on 50.1% from the field.
That means that while he does score a lot against the Clippers, he is unstoppable against many other teams too.
