Luka Doncic of the Dallas Mavericks missed the first three games of the NBA playoffs due to an injury but he’s been back for two games now.
And it looks like Doncic is making up for lost time.
The Mavericks took down the Utah Jazz 102-77 on Monday night, partly due to the superior work from Doncic.
The superstar put up 33 points, 13 rebounds, and 5 assists in the powerful performance.
Through Luka Doncic’s first 15 career Playoff games, he has recorded 499 points, 137 rebounds, and 133 assists.

By doing so, he also joined a special club in NBA history.
Through his first 15 playoffs games, Doncic now has recorded 499 points, 137 rebounds, and 133 assists.
This means he is alongside only Oscar Robertson as the only two NBA players to reach 450+ points, 125+ rebounds, and 125+ assists through their first 15 career playoff games.
Is this Doncic’s year to go all the way?
Dangerous Doncic
The Mavericks have a lot of great players but there is no doubt Doncic is the team’s biggest star.
Dallas had high hopes for the postseason this year and ended the year in a better position than they had been for a while.
However, the Western Conference is crowded and competitive and the Mavericks will have to do a lot of work to make it to the Finals.
But Doncic is starting to impress like he usually does and there is reason to believe they could actually make it happen.
Doncic just needs to stay healthy – the player has an unfortunate tendency to get hurt in the postseason.
It’s already happened once, causing him to miss the first three games of the playoffs.
If he stays healthy and the Mavs stay strong, they could be making some serious noise in the West.
