The Major League Baseball All-Star Game is always full of fun and excitement, especially for the players involved.
It brings a sense of fanfare and joy to the game of baseball that comes close to the fanfare and excitement of the postseason.
But Hendriks begged Rodriguez not to throw the ball into the stands, as he wanted to have a little souvenir to remember the big game.

Hendriks Gets A Prize
Well, he got his wish.
Rodriguez heard the veteran closer and obliged.
Now, Hendriks has something to remember this year’s All-Star Game by.
He can forever remember how he got d’Arnaud to pop out and how he managed to get one of the brightest young stars in the game to listen to him before he threw the ball away.
And that made for a hilarious moment, as Rodriguez headed into the dugout and threw the ball over to Hendriks, as the star reliever waited on pins and needles for the ball to head back in his direction.
Of course, Hendriks got the ball and it’s now his to keep.
That’s some quality persuasion done by Hendriks right there.
He made sure he got that ball and had a little trophy to remember this year’s All-Star Game.
He may have only to thrown to one batter, but he made it count.
He got d’Arnaud out and now has something to remember it by.
