The Los Angeles Lakers have actually been doing quite well without LeBron James, scoring a 4-3 record during his latest time away due to injury.
Fans of the team have noted the powerful output from a few stars, including D’Angelo Russell, Anthony Davis, and others.
But that doesn’t mean they aren’t very excited to see James come back.
And his return may be soon.
As noted by NBA Buzz, James just posted an illustration of himself rehabilitating underwater with a caption that just featured an ellipsis, an emoji of a king’s crown, and an hourglass.
This all seems to suggest that James is on his way back and could be with his team again in the near future.

Even though they’ve been admirable without him, the Lakers are ready for more of their lead star.
James has averaged 29.5 points, 8.4 rebounds, and 6.9 assists during the 2022-23 season, his 20th in the league.
Beyond his numbers, James has again proven that he’s a team leader and able to command the floor and his teammates with skill, smarts, and ease.
That will all be needed in the last few weeks of the regular season.
The Lakers are the ninth team in the West and are desperately trying to stay in contention for the play-in tournament.
If James returns and plays well and the rest of the promising roster continues to impress too, the Lakers might be peaking at the perfect time.
Whenever James comes back, it’ll be a cause for celebration for the Lakers.
