Bronny James, son of Los Angeles Lakers icon LeBron James, hasn’t played a single game of NBA basketball yet but he is already known all over the league.
In fact, most NBA fans are well aware of James and he has quite a few fans, despite the fact that he is still in high school.
His age and professional inexperience aren’t slowing him down.
In fact, he’s doing better than many experienced vets.
We’re excited to announce the newest student athletes to join our Nike family: Caitlin Clark, Bronny James, Haley Jones, DJ Wagner and Juju Watkins.

Nike recently announced that James is just one of the student athletes signed by the company.
That means that James’ name, image, and likeness could be used by Nike in the years ahead.
It also means that he just signed a massive business deal with a major company.
However, it is very unlikely that this will be his last.
Like Father, Like Son
Signing with Nike while still in high school isn’t new for the James family.
Bronny’s father hooked up with Nike before he was in the NBA too and that partnership has blossomed into a lifetime deal that was agreed upon in 2015.
The signing by Nike shows that James is one to watch and could not only be a huge presence in the NBA but also a face that is well-known in the media and pop culture too.
James, who is currently playing for Sierra Canyon High School, had a few words about Nike, saying, “Getting a chance to team up with [Nike] and continue my family’s legacy both on the court and in the community is wild—it really means a lot to me.”
Now that he has a lot of interest from fans and the biggest shoe company in the world, James needs to continue focusing on his game.
