Last week, LeBron James of the Los Angeles Lakers broke a major NBA record when he finally scored more than 40 points against all 30 teams in the league.
That’s a major achievement and there were some people who said it may never be replicated.
Well, it might be – and it might be replicated very soon.
James Harden is only one team away from joining LeBron for 40-point games against every NBA franchise.
His last team is the Rockets and they play on February 13th… 👀🍿

James Harden of the Philadelphia 76ers is just one team away from joining James in that very exclusive club of scoring 40 against every NBA franchise.
Ironically, the last team he needs to score like that against is his former squad, the Houston Rockets.
Coincidentally, he will play against them on February 13, which means he might soon cross this threshold and do something that literally only one other person has.
Harden has been having a pretty strong season.
This is his first full year with the 76ers: he is putting up 21.4 points, 6.3 rebounds, and 11.2 assists.
You might not notice by the numbers alone, but Harden’s percentages have seen an increase and he is playing with more smarts, determination, and better teamwork with the rest of his squad.
Additionally, Harden might have his best chance at returning to the Finals this year.
His 76ers are currently the second-best team in the East and have won their last seven games.
Will this be the year that Philadelphia goes all the way?
If that doesn’t happen, rumors claim that Harden might actually leave the team.
In fact, inside reporting has said that he is toying with the idea of heading back to Houston and playing for the Rockets.
That means that if he doesn’t score more than 40 against the team this season then he might not be able to do it at all.
