And while James’ tenure in Southern California has had some mixed results thus far, The King has managed to enter the history books donning the purple and gold jersey night in and night out.
That happened again on Tuesday night, even though they once again failed to beat hometown rivals Los Angeles Clippers.
LeBron was the lone bright spot for Darvin Ham‘s team, scoring a whopping 46 points to go along with eight rebounds, seven assists, two steals, one block, and nine three-pointers on 15/29 FG, 5/5 FT, and 9/16 3FG.
With that amazing performance, the 38-year-old has now scored 40+ points against every single team in the National Basketball Association.
IT'S OFFICIAL! 💥

Notably, he’s the first — and only, obviously — player to ever achieve that milestone, ahead of other legends who also played for different teams, such as Kevin Durant, Wilt Chamberlain, or even Michael Jordan.
Moreover, the legendary forward continues to inch closer to Kareem Abdul-Jabbar‘s all-time scoring record, averaging 30.2 points for the season, the second-highest mark of his career.
James only needs 177 points to tie Kareem, meaning he’s just six games away from making history yet again.
The Lakers may or may not make the playoffs this season, but LeBron has still made them must-watch television.
