With just a couple of months to go before the regular season starts, many people are still wondering what will happen with Russell Westbrook and the Los Angeles Lakers.
There were many who just assumed he would have been traded from the team by now.
Meanwhile, some expected that the Lakers would stick it out with Westbrook and he would remain with the team when the new season began.
Either way, there is going to be controversy about Westbrook and his future – but LeBron James isn’t having any of it.
Can't wait for him to go off this season!! 🤫

He hyped up his teammate on Twitter.
When one user said “The Westbrook disrespect and vitriol is still corny regardless of how you feel about last season. Some people gotta get a life man,” James jumped into the conversation.
“Can’t wait for him to off this season!!” James said, signaling his support for Westbrook and what he can achieve.
But let’s be honest: will James and Westbrook ever play on the same team again?
Westbrook Wandering Away
James might be showing love for Westbrook but that doesn’t mean the front office of his team isn’t working furiously to trade him away.
In fact, the addition of Patrick Beverley apparently only makes that possibility more likely.
Westbrook might be traded or he might be benched as John Wall was with the Houston Rockets last season.
The chances of him and James being back to back on the court when the new season starts are diminishing and more people think Westbrook’s days in LA are numbered.
But James isn’t hearing that, he’s just cheering on his squadmate.
However, he might not be his squadmate for much longer.
