Fans of the Dallas Mavericks have been in love with Luka Doncic ever since he joined the team and greatly improved their postseason prospects.
But another fan of Doncic happens to be the biggest name in the NBA: LeBron James.

James was recently gushing about Doncic, telling the press just what makes the Slovenian superstar so special:
“I love everything about his game. I love everything about him. The way he plays the game reminds me of how I play the game. We’re triple threats. We rebound, we pass…and we’ll put 40 on you too if you disrespect us. Absolutely.”
James isn’t wrong: Doncic is a lot like him and one of the best guys in the league – now all he needs is to secure his first championship ring.
Doncic Driving Dallas
Things got off to a bit of a shaky start but Doncic is once again playing some premier NBA basketball.
The player has taken his game to new heights.
Over the last ten games, Doncic has averaged 35.4 points, 10.3 rebounds, and 9.8 assists while shooting 48.8 percent from the floor and 43.3 percent from beyond the three-point line.
Some people wondered how Doncic would play in the latter half of the season and he’s providing quite the answer.
Doncic is the brightest spot on the Dallas Mavericks team by a wide margin and he’s doing all he can to take his team into the postseason.
It remains to be seen if the Mavs will go far this year or if they’re a few years away from a championship.
But one thing is for sure: if the Mavericks hope to make the Finals, they’ll need Doncic to do so.
