It’s undeniable that the Los Angeles Lakers are having an awful season but it’s also undeniable that their lead star, LeBron James, is playing some phenomenal ball.
In the last couple of weeks, James has scored more than 50 points twice and has broken more NBA records.
While his team is struggling to even make it into the postseason, James is passing historic milestones again and again.

The latest NBA triumph came on Sunday night when James became the first player in the league’s history to have 10,000 assists and 10,000 rebounds.
During a lopsided loss to the Phoenix Suns, James passed the ball to his buddy Carmelo Anthony for a basket and secured yet another spot in the history books.
As Statmuse points out, James is now the only player in the history of the NBA to have 36,000 points, 10,000 assists, and 10,000 rebounds.
With this achievement, James is in a league all his own.
Not Slowing Down
James is 37 years old but he’s been playing like he’s ten years younger than that this season.
While he is definitely feeling the effects of Father Time more than usual when it comes to injuries, James is still consistently one of the best players in the league.
All of this is leading some to wonder just when he will slow down.
There’s a very good chance he will still be playing professional basketball when he’s 40 years old – and he might still be incredibly good.
The numbers prove that James is the best 37-year-old to ever play in the NBA and now it just remains to be seen how much longer he will keep going.
Will he be the first 40-year-old NBA player in contention for MVP?
