We haven’t heard a lot from LeBron James since the Los Angeles Lakers were eliminated from the postseason before the playoffs even began.
The iconic superstar is surely relaxing, refreshing, and readying himself and his team to hopefully come back stronger than ever.
However, since he’s not in the postseason that means that James has a lot more time on his hands.
That means he’s able to do fun things like partake in a Twitter Q&A.
The last time we actually played I shattered the backboard on a dunk so we couldn't finish the game. 🤷🏾♂️🤣
— LeBron James (@KingJames) May 17, 2022
That’s exactly what happened on Monday when James fielded questions from his fans online.
One fan asked if James’ son, Bronny James, had beat King James in a game of one-on-one yet?
James’ response said it all: “The last time we actually played I shattered the backboard on a dunk so we couldn’t finish the game.”
It sounds like James is as competitive as ever – will this make his son a better player?
The Second Coming
Bronny James won’t be ready to enter the NBA for a couple more years.
He will graduate from high school in 2023.
There has been a lot of speculation about whether James will play with his father, side-by-side on the Lakers…or perhaps another team.
The elder James has made no secret of his desire to play with his son.
He has repeatedly said he’d love to be on a team with Bronny before retiring.
But will that happen?
Recently, Bronny’s ranking among high school prospects has dropped a bit as he’s had some struggles on the court.
However, if James wants to play with his son then that will likely happen.
Again and again, we have seen evidence that whatever James wants, James gets.
These two family members will likely play together in the NBA – even if James has to switch teams to make that happen.
