LeBron James Can Commit To The Lakers In A Big Way

LeBron James has said in the past that he wants to retire on the West Coast as part of the Los Angeles Lakers.

Since arriving, he has really changed the team – and helped them win their 17th championship back in 2020.

But right now the team is doing very poorly and didn’t even make the play-in tournament last season.

In just three days, LeBron is eligible to sign a 2-year, $97M extension with the Lakers.

This has led some to wonder if James will really stick around with his troubled team in the future.

Obviously, there are plenty of other organizations around the NBA who would do anything to sign James.

In just a few days, James will be eligible to sign a two-year, $97 million extension with LA.

Will he do it or will he try to make his way out of Los Angles despite the promises made?

James In Jeopardy?

We already know he will stick around in Los Angeles and will be a Laker when the new season starts.

He loves it in LA, he believes in the guys around him, and he also has an affinity for head coach Darvin Ham.

The team really hopes he remains beyond that because they are built around him.

Obviously, any team that has James will become his and that is definitely true for the Lakers.

He is the star of the show, the guy who calls all the shots, and also the man who creates the most points on the team.

Even at 37, James is still nailing nearly 30 points a game, the most on the team and almost the most among the rest of the NBA.

Things can’t get a lot worse than last season but the playoffs are no sure thing for this Lakers squad.

James signing an extension doesn’t guarantee anything more than high expectations.
