Kevin Durant is now a member of the Phoenix Suns, a move that will have huge repercussions across the NBA.
Not only will it greatly increase championship chances for the Suns but it will also impact and surely damage the chances of other teams in the West and throughout the league.
It will also provide fans an opportunity of seeing him face off against another superstar again.

Durant hasn’t played against LeBron James of the Los Angeles Lakers since 2018.
Because of injuries, these two stars have not battled it out since Christmas Day of that year.
But now they are set to square off again, this time on March 22 when the Suns play the Lakers.
As long as both players are still healthy, NBA fans will finally be able to witness two of the best basketball players alive take each other on.
This is obviously great news for loyal NBA followers and will surely be the game of the night.
But it’s also a matchup that greatly favors the Suns.
The Lakers were the underdogs in this game before Durant was added to Phoenix but now expectations for LA are even lower.
You will see this happen multiple times: the Suns are going to be the favorites in just about every game they play in.
Expectations for the Suns are high for this game – and every other game too.
They could meet those expectations and Durant could be the addition that the team needed to finally win a Finals.
But what happens if they fall short of those lofty goals?
March 22 is now a date that all NBA fans are going to be circling on their calendars.
