Most NBA teams have just six or seven games left in the regular season, which means that time is running out for many of them and their star players.
That also means that the race for MVP and many other end-of-season trophies is heating up.
All season long, we have seen the quest for Most Valuable Player grow tighter and tighter.
What was once a large field featuring multiple players is now down to just a couple of big names.
Front-and-center of it all is two-time MVP Nikola Jokic of the Denver Nuggets.
In fact, BetOnline.ag is now reporting that Jokic is the favorite to win the top prize again.

If Jokic does pull this off, it’ll be a huge feat for the Serbian superstar.
Throughout the history of the NBA, only three stars have won MVP three times in a row.
Jokic would join the company of Bill Russell, Wilt Chamberlain, and Larry Bird.
At the start of the season, most NBA analysts and fans didn’t think Jokic stood a chance of taking this honor again, simply because historical precedent made it unlikely.
But his talent cannot be denied.
For the season, he is averaging 24.9 points, 11.9 rebounds, and 9.9 assists, which is very close to what he did for the last two seasons.
No one can deny that the trophy will be well-earned.
However, the race between Jokic and Joel Embiid is ridiculously close and there is still time for Embiid to come out on top in the end.
NBA fans are going to be paying close attention to every single remaining game, comparing both Jokic and Embiid for nearly every possession.
This race is going to come down to the wire.
