Lamar Jackson is having an eventful season as the face of the Baltimore Ravens.

The main story surrounding him is his contract status.

Will he get a new deal before training camp, or is a holdout on the horizon?

One thing we know for sure is that he will have a tougher time on offense this season following the trade of Marquise Brown to the Arizona Cardinals.

The move was made during the NFL Draft and shocked the entire NFL world.

However, it later became known that Brown wanted out of Baltimore and the team simply honored his wish.

Jackson was left in shock and spoke Thursday on what his reaction to the move was.

This is Lamar Jackson recreating his reaction to the Ravens trading Marquise Brown.

He heard from John Harbaugh that the team was thinking about dealing Brown, but Jackson didn’t initially believe him.

“It’s all good,” Jackson said, as shared by ESPN’s Jamison Hensley. “It’s part of the business.”

Yet the quarterback’s face in the above photo tells the whole story about how he really feels.

Ravens Put Jackson In A Tough Spot

The Ravens did their star quarterback no favors this offseason.

That means it may once again be up to him to carry the entire offense in 2022.

This reality explains why he wants such a lucrative deal from the team, or at least one on par with his counterparts all over the NFL.

So what happens if he and the team can’t agree to terms before Week 1?

Only Jackson knows the answer to that, as it is a worst-case scenario for both sides.

For now, he can try to adjust and move on without his top receiver lining up on the outside.
