What a weekend for the Los Angeles Lakers.
You read that correctly: the Lakers have been on something of a roll lately.
They not only defeated the Milwaukee Bucks in a huge game on Friday night but they also conquered the Washington Wizards on Sunday.
And Anthony Davis was all over each of these games.

Sunday was a particularly great day for Davis, who earned a stat line as massive as he is.
Davis scored 55 points, 17 rebounds, and 3 blocks on 22-of-30 from the field.
The eight-time All-Star has been a major part of the team’s recent string of victories and the Lakers have now won 8 of their last 10 games.
Is Davis in the midst of his greatest season ever?
The Brow Is Back
Back when he was still playing for the New Orleans Pelicans, Davis’ best season was arguably in 2017-18, when he averaged 28.1 points, 11.1 rebounds, and 2.6 blocks a game.
This year, he is currently doing 28.6 points, 12.8 rebounds, and 2.4 blocks a game.
Those 12.8 rebounds are a league-high number, by the way.
Sure enough, Davis is playing the best basketball he has since he and his Lakers stormed through the Orlando bubble and won a ring back in 2019-20.
He looks intimidating, dominant, smart, and very healthy right now.
For years, people have said that Davis was not delivering and was half the player he used to be.
Davis continually claimed he was going to come back bigger and stronger than before but few people truly believed him.
Now he is making good on that promise and the Lakers are actually a lot of fun to watch again.
The Lakers are still just 10-12 so they have a long way to go but they are looking much, much better than they were a few weeks ago.
